I'm reading the Harry Potter series with my daughter, I am in two book clubs, and I have a student writing a paper about Pillars of the Earth, which I was hoping to read in 2016, but has now gotten a major bump up the list!

Wow, I'm not sure that's even a fair question. I wouldn't want to hurt any poor book's feelings. :-)
I would have to say, though, that I enjoyed some of the historical fiction selections the most; Lion of Ireland, Red Strangers, and March are probably my top three.
