message 26: by ⚜️XAR (new)

⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) I was re-reading the newsletter and just now noticed this thread! I've been here how long now?! LOL, call me noob on this one, it would be the truth!

I read 5 books that were 5 star reads for me. They were:
Too Close to Home (Women of Justice, #1) by Lynette Eason , Don't Look Back (Women of Justice, #2) by Lynette Eason , Vision in White (Bride Quartet, #1) by Nora Roberts , Jinx (Bigtime, #3) by Jennifer Estep , and Kilts & Kraken (Gaslight Chronicles, #3) by Cindy Spencer Pape .

Unfortunately, there were a few duds too. The 2 star duds:
Masks by Evangeline Anderson and The Wedding (Lairds' Fiancées, #2) by Julie Garwood , followed by the "I really have to give this a star? Why can't I give negative stars?!" books:
Enchanted (Woodcutter Sisters #1) by Alethea Kontis , Tempest Rising (Jane True, #1) by Nicole Peeler , and The Mighty Storm (The Storm, #1) by Samantha Towle , most of which I just simply could not finish! I did suffer my way through The Mighty Storm though!

Ren Puspita (renpuspita) Less productive this month, since I'm so distracted with Wattpad :/. My favorite :

Steel's Edge (The Edge, #4) by Ilona Andrews - 4,5*. The last book of the Edge series. I wish they will continue again this series :(

Bite Me (Pride, #9) by Shelly Laurenston -4*, kinda overrated for me. While it's fun and have LOL moment, seems like Laurenston lost some of her sparks.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Oh, I have Steel's Edge (The Edge, #4) by Ilona Andrews on audio, Ren, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

Geez. I say that a lot. I'd best not get any more audiobooks until I listen to what I have. Ha! Best laid plans...
