My new novel An Untoward Induction appeared in Goodreads today, however when I look at my author profile, I still only see my first novel, A Harrowing Education. Please add to my profile, and if possible, let me know what I can do to smooth this process in the future?

You are listed on GR as Michael^^McGuire where ^ denotes a space. While adding your books, include an extra space in your name and the book would be attributed automatically to you.

Can I fix my author profile to remove the extra space rather than add unnecessary spaces to book information? I'm not even sure that's possible to change on the meta data for the books since my publisher (BookBaby) handles the distribution to goodreads as well and creates it from my first and last name.

Michael, you do not need to change the books. The extra space is behind the scenes on GR only and serves only to differentiate between authors with the exact same name. It does not affect search or display at all.

If you choose not to add the separate space, your books will all load to the one-space profile, and you will need to request that the librarian move them periodically (when newly added).

Also being 2 spaces Michael McGuire means that your profile is not filled with all the catch-all books.
