After a few moments of awkward silence, Griffin relaxed a bit and spoke again. "So," He said clearing his throat, "You say you're a rebel. DO you have any powers?"

"Yes." Brea wasn't going to be casual anymore, "I can persuade people to do what I want them to do. I try not to use it much." Brea spoke curtly.
"Good." There was an awkward silence before Griffin spoke again clearing his throat. "Thank you, for the soup I mean."
"You're welcome. The way I see it, everyone needs to survive. The least I can do to continue that is to give you soup."
I thought it tasted good" griffin Sa" it tasted good to me." griffin says. A few seconds layer he speaks again, "You and Derrick get some shut eye. I'll stand guard. No one can ever be too safe."
Griffin looks at Brea with a raises eyebrow. "let me tell you something... if I wanted to kill you, I would already have. But if you won't sleep, then I will. You stand guard and whenever you feel you cam trust me enough, wake me up and ill stand guard." griffin lied down on one of the blankets and closed his eyes, marveling at how naïve Brea was being.
Griffin sighed and sat up, noticing Brea. "you okay?" he asks. "usually I'm not the kind of guy who cares but you're a kid, you shouldn't be going through these things."
"Yeah I'm fine. Just keeping watch. And really, I don't qualify as a kid anymore, I've been on the road for quite a while." Brea didn't feel like preaching but she didn't want to be called a little girl.
Griffin chuckles to himself. "I don't know why you're complaining about being called a kid. I would do anything to go back to being a kid. Growing up is the tough part, you lose the freedom, lose the happiness and all your left with," griff said looking up at Brea, "is and empty hole. Enjoy what you have, kid. Soon it'll all be gone and you'll be wishing it was still here."
"All I ever had is already gone," Brea mumbled under her breath, a little louder she said, "that's a reason."
Griffin sighs, "well, I like to think of it this way, if it weren't for the sad moments, then happy one's wouldn't be so precious. Think about that." griff says turning around. He slowly begins to deify off to sleep.
((Yeah that would be fine))Brea kept watch through the night, just daring for something bad to happen.
((okay i'll add Finnick.))After restless hours of searching for rebels, Finnick gave up. As he was searching for somewhere to rest, he spotted a cave and approached it. He entered the cave and headed a bit deeper, moving silently. Suddenly he heard a sound and stopped. He listened closer and smiled when he heard voices. "must be rebels," he said to himself. Slowly he followed the direction of the voice.
As Finnick walked deeper into the cave he noticed a campfire and saw the outlines of two people lying on the floor and one sitting down. "damn it." Finnick thought to himself. "they outnumber me. shoving that thought aside, Finnick removed his gun from his holster and approached the 'campsite'. "hello there," he said holding his gun out.
"Hello there!" Brea said in her most cheerful voice, wishing her powers to work, "but you don't want to shoot me, right?"
