While Lily wasn't my favorite character, I liked that she gave us a reason to visit the Traynors. Now, I'm wondering what happens after After You! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 15(view spoiler)[Though I am really frustrated with Lily too, I still feel for her. I'm actually glad that Louisa stood up for herself and kicked her out. Even though, I'm terribly worried for Lily, Louisa needed to stick up for herself and stop letting Lily take advantage of her. She was never going to really help Lily by letting her walk all over her. I just don't want that to be the end of their relationship, just to change it. (hide spoiler)]

It bothers me that everyone seems to be so quick to have her leave Lily, that she isn't her responsibility. She might not be her responsibility, but thankfully Louisa has a heart and is a good person, because Lily really needed her. I wouldn't leave her either, unless Lily is happy and tells her to go. And the hopeless romantic in my wants Louisa to love again and Sam is a great guy, so I'm still hoping there!! (hide spoiler)]

I finished and I loved it (view spoiler)[I have to admit I wanted Louisa and Sam together annd not in a long distance relationship, but I'm happy she's healed and New York was her choice. What made this story for me was all the amazing secondary charcters. Loved the group from the moving on circle, Louisa's family, LIly and Camile, of couse Sam and Donna. I even loved hating boss Richard and Lily's appalling mom. There was just so many memorable chacters and I laughed and I cried. I just feel like Iwant a little more of Louisa's story. Finished! I liked it but not as much as the first book. (view spoiler)[I had a hard time with Lily and felt like she walked all over Louisa. I also didn't feel any chemistry between Louisa and Sam. It certainly wasn't the same with Will. But I am happy that she's going to New York. It's a huge step forward for her! (hide spoiler)]

I sympathized with her and I liked her crazy brash personality, but I can see how some people might not like her. I was really glad when Louisa stood up to her and threw her out, because Lily was taking advantage of her. But I kept worrying about a 16 year old girl getting kick out at 2 am and I hated that everyone seemed to keep telling Louisa that Lily wasn't her problem. She was a child who needed help and thank goodness Louisa is a good person and helped her and in the end Lily help Louisa heal too! I thought that Sam and Louisa had chemistry, but yes not like her and Will. I think Sam was merely a secondary character to show Louisa's healing process and her ability to love again. The romance girl in me wanted more of that story, but I get it now, this was Louisa's story of healing and moving on not her love story. (hide spoiler)]

So I have finished (view spoiler)[ I agree Lily was much, but I had teenagers and with all that she was going through she was right on par with normal teen. I didn't like her actions but again, typical. It is good Louisa stuck up for herself, it was long over due. I agree about this being Louisa's heeling story. Deanna I would love a New York story...I feel like if they did there would be a some trouble that involves Nathan... I love Louisa's mom and dads story. The whole not shaving her legs...crying with laughter. Then her dad gets waxed and offers to wax it all...I laughed so hard. So of course it wasn't as good as the first, but that's a lot to live up to. I think this book did itself justice. I'm happy with it (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]
