Description:

TWO TRANSHUMAN BABIES WILL GROW INTO ADULTS ...
FASTER THAN THE MOON ORBITS THE EARTH ...
AND INFLUENCE HUMANITY'S FATE.

In the Great Commonwealth of Beimeni, a subterranean civilization in North America, expansion long ago gave way to peace and prosperity in the face of the history's most devastating plague. Immortality is the reward for service and loyalty in Beimeni, a place where the physical blends with the metaphysical and power consolidates in the hands of those with a genetic edge. The fissures first spread slowly, then swiftly, until now the Great Commonwealth finds itself on the brink of economic devastation, challenged by forces from within that know its secrets and its crimes. At the center of the conflict lie the Selendias of Piscator, founders of the resistance with an uncanny connection to the zeropoint field, and the Barão Strike Team, three researchers tasked with finding a cure to the Reassortment Strain, the plague that nearly wiped transhumankind from the Earth. Traveling from the uninhabitable but pristine surface to the habitable but inhospitable underground, this is a story about dedication to dreams, battle for survival, discovery and connection, song and celebration, undoing past misdeeds, and sacrifice for the greater good.

In THE DESCENT INTO THE MAELSTROM, newborns Oriana and Pasha Barão are developed in preparation for the Harpoons, while Champion Gwendolyn Horvearth campaigns for Antosha Zereoue's bid to oversee Project Reassortment. Meanwhile, Jeremiah Selendia teaches his youngest son, Connor, more about his heritage and telepathic abilities, and a renewed accord leads the Beimeni Polemon to a city long forgotten. Will Oriana and Pasha earn a bid during the Harpoon Auction? Is Connor ready to confront the Liberation Front's deadliest foe? Can Gwen accept her new role at Antosha's side? The young grow up fast in Beimeni, and this new generation's choices will shape the fate of transhumankind.

MORE ABOUT THE PHANTOM OF THE EARTH

The Phantom of the Earth is a thought-provoking post-apocalyptic science fiction series. It relies heavily upon synthetic biology and quantum physics.

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments Added the omnibus, created the series looks like we doubled up on that bit, so I added the omnibus to the other series instead. Also removed the links from the descriptions, where they're not allowed.

Raeden Zen (goodreadscomraeden_zen) | 53 comments Hmm... I thought links to Amazon were allowed?

Also, one thing I noticed is that the "more about" section in the descriptions were also removed. Can you please reinsert that paragraph to all the descriptions?

Additionally, the opening paragraph about the omnibus edition isn't there. Can you please insert that first paragraph that describes what the omnibus contains?

Many thanks.

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments The more about was about the series, not the book. I can add it to the series description if you like. And no, links to Amazon sales pages are not allowed. Links internally to gr pages are, but duplicate the built in series functionality, so theres not much point to them.

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments Added series description.

Added the books list to the omnibus (although it too duplicates what's clearly in the title, and pushes the actual book description below the fold - are you sure you actually want that?)

Raeden Zen (goodreadscomraeden_zen) | 53 comments Got it. Thanks very much for your help. (I missed that built-in Amazon link.)

Hmmm...

That's a good point re: book description in the Omnibus.

Lets delete the paragraph with the books listed since it's included in the title as you note. But I would like to keep the short blurb ahead of the description. I'd also like to keep the formatting consistent with the individual books in the series, so it would go like this:

THE STRUGGLE FOR THE TRANSHUMAN SPECIES...
TO AVERT EXTINCTION AND RETURN TO THE SURFACE ...
WILL BE DECIDED UNDERGROUND.

Raeden Zen (goodreadscomraeden_zen) | 53 comments Also, you mentioned, "The more about was about the series, not the book. I can add it to the series description if you like."

Where is the series description? Or, where does that appear? And yes, I like that idea, please do add it to the series description.

Many thanks.
