Marcus hit the hologram with his ice power barely missing her, "Nice job." said the hologram, "now this time you will be fighting an actual person." She continued her voice smooth but had a hint of tone too it.Valerie trudged the the forest flapping her big beautiful white wings, as she tried to stretch them out she winced. "I guess not." She said as she tried to stretch her wings out.
"Nice Job again." The hologram said before disappearing. He saw someone behind the hologram before he left. Was she one of him, a witch/wizard? He didn't care he would still fight, he wanted to win not lose. He got his shield ready and small piece of ice circle in front of him. "Ready?"Bridget wiggled her wings, then jumped high in the air spreading out her wings so they covered half of the moon with white light. After that she stayed there for a while then sat in a tree she spotted a mile away that look good to rest on. She folded up her wings and silently looked at the sky.
Marcus groaned as she made the lights go out. He shot the ice missing terribly her. "I can't see with the lights off." He complained trying to see her out of the pitch black room. Firing again, his ice hitting something else. Bridget jumped down from the tree moving again. After a while she bumped into this mysterious person. Backing up she quickly wacked out her wings to protect herself but she knew it was a dumb idea. "Who's there?" She asked, a hint of fear in her voice.
"Shut up." He said checking to see if tears had ran down his eyes then he laughed. He dodged the fireball since he could see better, shooting his ice in her direction he laughed again.Bridget watched the tall figure move to the side and keep walking. He noticed that his aura wasn't like the angels, she figured he was a fallen angel. She flew back into her tree, and watched as the sun set.
He growled but threw another one. "What should I call you then?" He said walking around the room quickly. The fire ball hit him in the leg, but that didn't hurt that much, he could just put ice on it.Bridget jumped down from the tree, she would have to go into the city to get something to eat. She picked her jacket up and hid the top of her wings, but the bottom of them still showed. Bridget walked out of the forest to the first restaurant she saw. She ordered a burger and some fries and then walked back to the forest sitting a against the tree.
She giggled for no reason, "I'm the nicest angel. Why do you think I'm not?" She asked with another giggle, while eating her fries. Her head rested on the tree as she finished her fries, but she didn't want the cheese burger. "Do you want this?" She asked holding it up so he could see it."Remember when you used to throw fireballs at me, that hurt." He said with a laugh, "E, How have you been doing?" He asked throwing a snowball that caused the room to have tiny snowflakes as he laughed again.
He smiled, "How do you know I do favors, for people I just tried to fight." He said with a laugh as he pulled her into a hug, "I haven't seen you in a while!" He said ending the hug as he stood by the broken chair that was on the ground."No problem! I like being a nice angel." She said with a wide smiling. She patted her stomach as she laid her head on the tree and let her eyes close slowly. Her eyes fluttered shut before she opened them again. "What's your name?" She asked moving her head to the side. She didn't know if he would tell her.
"What's the quest?" He asked looking up at her with his icy blue eyes. "What if I chose to not do the quest, couldn't you find someone else with ice powers?" He asked"That's a nice name!" She exclaimed looking at him with a smile, "My name is Bridget. What are you doing in this forest?" She asked with a smile as she moved so her back wasn't against the tree.
"What's in it for me?" He asked getting comfortable, "If there's something in there for you there should be something in it for me." He smiled as he watched her (not creepy at all) "How do you know that I want to help the king?" He asked narrowing his eyes.Bridget laughed softly, "I'm here because they sent me down here, they didn't explain it to me." She had a wide smile on her face as she tried to ignore the harsh tone in his first words, "I guess, I was sent here on a mission, to get someone or something I just don't know." She said with a frown as she looked up at the sky.
"How much money is it? If I may ask." He said crossing his arms, while copying her. He leaned back in his chair while he looked at her, watching what she would do next."Yeah, they didn't tell me, they just told me to stay safe." She said with a half smile, as he dropped to the ground. "I guess they want me to find anything suspicious and bring it back to them." She said the smile returning to her face.
He was in shock as she said 100,000, "Did I hear you right? You said 100,000?" He asked shaking his head as she uncrossed his arms and raked them through his hair. "What if I don't want money?" He laughed trying to make it harder for her."Yeah, I guess I should go back tomorrow and tell them I didn't find anything." She said with a frown as she thought what they would tell her, if she didn't get something or someone. She hit her head softly as she replayed what they told her.
"Nope, they said if I find anything suspicious report back to them. Something weird is going on because they never do that." She said the frown still on her face as she let the words slip out of her mouth. "Hm...You're going to have convince me on that because you know I don't like the king and I definitely wouldn't want to help him out in anything." He said with a smirk as he walked around the fallen chair.
"Yeah, I guess that they wanted me to be safe so they didn't tell me who or what."Marcus's face turned into a frown as he watched her walk out of the room. He quickly turned back before she saw he was looking.
"Yeah, but I guess I'm on my own right and it's my duty to help them." She said proudly as she propped her feet on the low grass and started at him. Marcus smirked as he saw her walking out, He stood up and dusted his pants off.
