This recipe is very simple and a family favorite...

6-7 boneless chicken breasts
red potatoes
1 c. white wine
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 block of cream cheese
salt/pepper to taste

I layer cut-up potatoes (or baby reds) on the bottom. Chicken breasts on top. Add a can of cream of mushroom soup. Add wine. Salt/pepper to taste. Let it cook on low for 7-8 hours. The last 1/2 hour I add the block of cream cheese. The cream cheese makes a very rich gravy.

I recommend serving with a side of greens.

Sometimes I will use rice instead of potatoes for a change, but the potatoes taste best with the cream cheese gravy. =)

Tammy (tammymerlot) | 16 comments They are wonderful! I highly recommend having one. Today I made shredded beef burritos in my crock pot before I left for work. It is SO NICE to come home to that yummy smell and not have to deal with dinner. =)
