Count me in. It's challenging, I will not gonna watch TV shows in that week, movies or anything, just reading books. I am ready, this is my first time.GMT
Jacquelyn, say you read a book that is 200+ pages and it's worth 3 points. If it were a sequel, would it still be worth 3 points, or would it be a total of 6?

Not as ready as I'd like due to all the reasons I've already given you, PLUS I remembered that our Sadies dance is March 28 and guess who has to chaperone? LOL but I'll do my best! I'm going to have fun no matter what!

I'm in! Now going to see what I'll read. :) I agree with Trinity!! This is really motivating, and it's my first time, and I can't wait, I even read one book till 3 in the morning, yesterday. (Preparations - STARTED!) :P

Are you doing this every month or not? and this with 7 days is great, I saw that in past it was 24 hours challenge, that's so little time, I like 7 days more, we get more time and also you can read more books. I don't think if I could read more than 2 books for 24 hours. :PI really cannot wait for 24 March! 11 more days to go... I don't remember when I was excited this much for something! hehehe *Now I am really happy that I found this group. It's awesome! Jacquelyn and Gisbelle are doing a great job!* <3

Yes, the seven day one was tons of fun and easier to participate in. I also cannot. So many books to finish / read before it starts!!!!

To be a participant in this readathon you must be signed up by March 23rd.
This time we will be doing something a little different. We will be having a point system that for every book you read you get some points! This is a way to add some competitiveness into our readathons (we all love that!) and a way to push ourselves to read more!
Our point system will look like this:
Pages:
450+ : 5pt
300+ : 4pt
200+ : 3pt
100+ : 2pt
Under 100 : 1pt
Sequel: 4pt
First In Series: 3pt
Standalone: 2pt
Prequels & Manga: 1 pt
*Everyone will start at the same time. Since I am in EST time I will start at midnight. So please post what time zone you are in so I can get you the time you will want to start at, depending on what part of the world you are in! :D Thanks!*
