Howdy! I’m new to this group but not GR. Definitely a fan of horror, mysteries, suspense, etc. Love witches, not so much zombies. About the only thing I don’t read are historical offerings. I’ve even been known to read YA, yikes! ;)
Hi all! I posted in the friends thread a few days ago but I missed this one... Anyway, I love all things horror. My dad introduced me to horror by renting the first Nightmare on Elm Street when I was a kid and we'd spend the weekends watching a bunch of scary movies... Some good, some not so good.
I grew up reading the original fear street and graduated to King when I was 11 and I was hooked. I always on the hunt to find new authors & books to check out. Thanks to goodreads & these groups, I discover so many more books to add to my never ending TBR list.... Currently around 800 now I think?!

When I was a kid I was terrified to walk down the horror movie aisle in the movie rental stores - the covers gave me nightmares. I watched Nightmare on Elm Street in 2nd grade and had stomachaches for a month. I don't know what happened, or even remember when, but now horror is all I watch or read. I'm not new to Goodreads, but new to groups.

Hello, horror nut here. I'm a big fan of stephen king, brian keene, bryan smith, edward lee, jesus gonzelez, etc. I want to refocus my attention to reading, which is by far my favorite time sink. Wasting too much of my life on reddit and fb which honestly makes me feel like garbage.
