Hello,I am Heather Arneson and just released my horror novel Spectrum-2nd Edition. I'm in a band called The Lyre Effect with someone from the UK that I haven't met in person, but he rocks and is really talented!! I love to create and was just a part of a poetry reading series sponsored by The Cracked Walnut. Also, I like to work on art from time to time (quality over quantity is my preference). Have a wonderful week!!

greetings all, i'm iasa. I used to read/watch much more horror material than I do now but lately I find myself being disappointed with the horror books I choose. I haven't lost my love of the creepy so I'm looking forward to find some recommendations here.
I prefer the book to the movie but am always interested to see how much blood gets flung around or whats new in special effects or animation in the theatres. My name is Maggie and I'm from Jersey. By joining the group I hope to find some folks with similar reading interests. “I think perhaps all of us go a little crazy at times.”

Welcome to HA, iasa and Maggie--I hope you find all kinds of recommendations for the things you like here. (As well as overflowing TBR piles!) :)
I'm enjoying "Heart Shaped Box" by Joe Hill about an aging rock star who collects demented and occult objects, but bites off more than he can chew when he orders a haunted suit online. It gets right into the story with no dull parts and the ghost is pretty freaky.
Hi I'm Randy from southern California. I noticed that you are reading Relic this month so I thought I'd join the group and take part in the discussion. I haven't read a lot of horror books in the past but I'm looking to expand my tastes in that area. Last month I read
We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson and this month I'm reading
Ancient Sorceries and Other Weird Stories by Algernon Blackwood. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and talking about books.
Hi all!! I am from Richmond, VA and was recently and most unexpectedly laid off from my last job. I now have some free time in between job searches and have been killing that by reading. I'm def a horror buff and love seeing what others are reading in the hopes of finding another great author to binge read :)
