Hello! Julia here... So glad to join a community group (my first) that enjoys horror and horror elements. I am a big fan of M. R. Carey and Justin Cronin, meaning I love the fantastical like zombies and vampires when the "science" is a key component. And throw in some government corruption, and I'm set :) Can't wait to learn and share with HA members!

Hello everyone. My name is Cathy and I've been an avid reader since I was old enough to hold a book. I love horror books / stories, but not slasher ones that are written just for the shock value or some personal view. It's the supernatural horror stories that fascinate me. Something that you read and it gives you chills down your spine because all the time you're thinking 'this could really happen'! Looking forward to being in the group, getting into some interesting discussions and getting some good read reccomendations.
Welcome Julia and Cathy!! HA is an amazing group. I come across so many wonderful people and book recommendations in HA. I have always enjoyed reading, but this group makes it more exciting!!

Cathy here, I was just looking at a new book titled "Todd" by Adam J. Nicolai, sounds interesting, anyone read any of his work? Also, looking for any new slants on exorcism, not a handbook, I'm not that brave. Thanks

I read his book "Alex" and it was very good.
