That was a great one!
Hi, everyone!I'm Verthandi, from Venezuela. I'm very excited to see what other horror fans have read, and I'm open to recommendations!
Best,
S.
Hello, everyone! My name is Monica, and I am the author of Through the Shattered Looking Glass. I love spooks that go bump in the night, creatures that lurk in the shadows, and I find comfort in the cold dead stares of dolls.
Hey y'all! I'm Kristy. I've been a horror fiction fan as long as I can remember. Some of my favorite authors include Stephen King, Ray Garton, Jack Ketchum, and Richard Laymon. I'm starting to branch out and try different genres (mostly thrillers and science fiction) but my main love is still horror. Although I love reading scary, creepy stuff, I absolutely HATE scary movies. I know, I'm weird. Looking forward to joining in on the July Group Read. :)
Hi everyone! I'm an aspiring horror/suspense author and dissecting the themes of psychological horror/thriller movies, books, and video games: my obsession. I'll chill out with a gangster show/flick or two, but horror will always be THE place to be.
I never get tired of the search for new scares to fall into, so I'm really looking forward to hearing HA's recommendations when they come across a must-have!
Hiya,I'm Dez and I love being creeped out, disturbed, spooked, scared and thrilled by creative horror. I'd consider myself rather picky in what I view as great horror, probably because I have nearly seen and read it all. My tastes become more and more refined as the years go by, so it's becoming more difficult to find things that really impress me. I'm joining this group in hopes to find stones not yet turned!
Happy reading!
Hey everyone. I'm new to Goodreads and figured I'd jump right in and join a group. Horror is one of my favorite genres and I hope to gain a little insight on what books I may have missed out on and get involved in some good dialogue. Everyone is welcome to add me as a friend.
Hi! I joined a little while ago and I'm excited interact with the group!
Hello all :)I'm Dan from the UK. It's probably very common but Stephen King was my first experience with the horror genre at high school. Other than King I really enjoyed I Am Legend by Richard Matheson and The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. I'd like to find some interesting modern horror novels.
Hi, I'm a reader and author. Thought I'd join HA, participate in the group reads, and improve my craft.

Hi all. I LOVE supernatural horror. Zombies are my fav, they are the coolest of the monsters, but I enjoy ghosts, vampires, demons, werewolves - pretty much anything supernatural. Though I read other genres, horror is still among my fav, and I mostly watch horror with thrillers, mysteries and the odd old comedy mixed in. NOTHING like spending a day off curled up on the sofa watching horror movies or reading horror books. The Arisen series by Glynn Jones and Michael Stephen Fuchs is one of the best zombie/military stories I've ever read, but so saying, there are so many other good zombie books as well. I'm looking forward to seeing what books everyone is recommending.
Welcome to HA, De and Angela! I'm sure you'll find enough books to last you several lifetimes here!! :D
Thanks Kimberly, I'm looking forward to it. My kindle is bulging with books but you can never have too many.Love your pic, BTW - cats are my other big love!

If you are a fan of King, read Salem's Lot if you haven't yet. It is one of the only vampire books I feel the need to bother with!
