I bought the Witcher 3 like a year ago on sale and haven't played it yet, and I'm not even sure why. Probably because I know it would take over my life I guess....lol. I really am interested in the news about Silent Hill remakes!! The movie is one of my favorites. As far as Alan Wake 2, it was truly a masterpiece. Just unbelievably good.
Becoming The Boogeyman- Richard ChizmarSongs of a Dead Dreamer and Grimscribe- Thomas Ligotti-

I read The Blood of the Lamb by Thomas F. Monteleone this year and I liked it. Very much religious horror with a healthy dash of sci fi to boot. You might enjoy it because it gets some healthy digs into megachurches ( The evangelical minister in the book could be Jerry Falwell or Bill Gothard) and the Catholic church.

Hello Kat! I'm *here* for the religious horror recs (I also carry a lot of religious trauma). I'm also a gamer and have been wondering about Baldur's Gate, so now I have to give it a go! :)

Hello, I'm Shawna, from Kentucky. I used to read a ton when I was younger, then switched to story-driven video games. Now I'm running out of good games, so back to reading it is. Usually more of an observer than a talker, but I saw the group read nominations thread for small town horror, which is one of my favorite genres in anything (books, games, tv shows), so I'm excited to maybe take part in that.
Hey all I'm an author, Tim. Fun group... I write scary graphic novels...but love all horror fiction. Glad I found you all!

Glad to have you here, Shawna!
Glad to have you here, Shawna!
Shawna: Welcome and very awesome! I loved story-driven FPS games (like Half-Life, DOOM, and Elder Scrolls) and yeah, gaming has gotten weird/boring lately so I'm just playing older FPS games whenever the mood strikes me.The monthly group reads are AMAZING and you're right, small town horror rocks!
Greetings all! Horror reader since I started reading, especially love anthologies (props to anyone who remembers the Shadows series edited by Charles L. Grant; loved reading those during the summer when I was a kid) but open to everything. Recently finished The Troop by Nick Cutter, loved it. Feel free to add me.
Heyo, Katie from Nevada here. Just starting to dip my toes into horror reading. I listen to a lot of books while at work and horror is starting to dominate my listening, if you don't think listening to books is reading that's fine! Also have an extreme draw to Stephen King through a good friend and having been born in Bangor. Super excited to poke around the different discussions.
Welcome to all the new members and since it's Friday, please be sure to grab a virtual Bahama Mama as we head into the weekend...
