Hey people! I'm Lara and I love horror and I am here for the very hardcore stuff, so if you have recommendations just message me! I read books in english and in german and the scariest book I read so far was The ExorcistI can't wait for all the books I am to discover here!

Hey, I'm Ridley.I'd consider myself a pretty big horror fan (I'm a cult A24 fan, my Fangoria subscription is a must, I think Martyrs is a masterpiece, etc etc), but when it comes to horror lit I'm definitely lacking. So far my favs are "We Need to Talk About Kevin" and "The Exorcist," but I'm looking to up the ante in terms of disturbing horror.
Would love some recs and am looking for a good community that gets as excited about scary stuff as I do! :)

Hello, I am a life-long fan of horror films, from vintage classics to present day. I find it more scary (in a good way) to read horror. Some of my faves are Let the Right One In and The Hike though American Predator: The Hunt for the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century was hella disturbing. I need recommendations, I don't know too many other horror fans.

Welcome Ridley! I bet you'll find what you're looking for here. I'm also trying to find true horror to pass my expectations so if you want some suggestions I recommend looking for Classics (maybe by Ambrose Bierce) that date to the late 1800s or early 1900s.

Howdy all, Dylan here checking in from the Midwest! Tech nerd that loves horror books, excited to hear different recommendations. Currently reading my heart is a chainsaw, I loved The Only Good Indians. I’m definitely more of an occult/folklore horror guy vs slasher/action horror. Cheers and happy holidays all.

Greetings fellow horror fans, I go under the name Dorian Wilde online (I’m just not comfortable with sharing my real name, hopefully this isn’t an issue) I’m a big fan of gothic horror and trying to get into splatterpunk. My favorite books are The Hellbound Heart, The Wasp Factory, and Carrie. I’m also a fan of slasher movies and just film in general. I love the Saw franchise and anything relating to Lynch, Cronenberg, or Romero. Im also looking for recommendations for novels, film, and any other horror media. Hopefully this isn’t too wordy for an introduction. Anyway, I hope to meet some people with similar interests.
