Hey! My name is Jennifer and I'm new to Goodreads. I am looking forward to being a part of this group, meeting new people and possibly gaining new friendships :-)A little about me: I've been wanting to write my own book for so long and finally started around a year ago. It's a vampire book which will be a 2 book series. I'm mainly into the horror genre but am trying something new with my writing by tackling the world of vampires. I'm 28 years old and a stay-at-home soon to be wife.
Hi, my name is Shawn and I'm always on the lookout for something nice and creepy. Maybe I'm too picky but it seems very difficult for me to find something that truly raises the hairs on the back of my neck these days. Some of my past favorites are "The Exorcist," "Phantoms," "Event Horizon," and "The Shining." I always appreciate recommendations.
I'm Mawr Gorshin (my pen name--I was born Martin Gross), and I'm from Canada originally (southern Ontario), but I moved to Taiwan (Hsinchu county) in the summer of 1996, and I've been living here ever since. I teach English here. I've written two horror novels ('Sweet' and 'Vamps'), and I'm working on a werewolf erotic horror novel called 'Wolfgang'.
Hi, this is Mike - - - aspiring writer of crime and horror, my two favorite genres. I read all forms of fiction, and have more time for this since retirement last year.

Thank you both :-)
Hi, I have been a member of Goodreads for about four years now, but for the past two years I have been in a rehab house: my MS got the better of me: had to learn to walk and talk again. Great to be back!I'm No P. I. A Ghoulish Good Time Chicken Soup for the Soul: It’s Christmas!: 101 Joyful Stories about the Love, Fun, and Wonder of the Holidays
Hello! My name is M.J. Orz and I am a horror writer out of Baltimore, MD (United States). I currently run mjorzauthor.wordpress.com (Click Here To Check It Out), my won blog about horror and all things creepy. I've had work produced by Mr. CreepyPasta, NoSleep Podcast, Phantom Librarian, Night Fears Podcast, and just released my first novel called "Don't Kill The Pretty One"! Hit me up with any questions and I look forward to joining in on the fun in the group!
Hi everyone. Melanie here from Vancouver, BC So glad I found this group. I just read The Girl with all the Gifts after seeing it here. I really enjoyed it. I pretty much will read anything but love myself a great haunted house story/ghosts I find it hard sometimes to find books as I get caught up in researching books to read and tend to get overwhelmed with what to start with. I love recommendations so this group is just what I need.
Hello, Melanie! Welcome to HA! I recently read The Girl With All the Gifts myself and I enjoyed it too.
Hello I'm Heather. I completely forgot to chime in on here when I first added the group. I've been a avid horror reader and movie watcher my whole life. I live in southern California. Already added way to many books to my TBR list because of this group haha oh well. Glad I found the group though since I am always happy to meet more horror fiends like myself :-)

Hello. I'm Will and I'm a writer, as well as an avid fan of horror. I enjoy reading modern horror tales with an old feel. Some of my favorite writers are Poe, Lovecraft, King and more recently Poppy Z. Brite. For me, the key to good horror is a good story, so the style is secondary. I know some people don't like the way King writes his stories so straight forward, but I enjoy it when an author buttons down the hatches and just gives us the story. At the same time, I do appreciate a complicated writing style as well, just as long as it doesn't border on pretentious. Anywho, nice to meet everyone! ~Will

Hello! I'm Tia, and I am obsessed with all horror things. I am always on the lookout for a great creepy and scary read. I have actually been in this group for a while now, but have yet to participate in a group read because I could never figure out how these group discussions worked. I'm very technologically challenged, but I am excited to join in the fun now!
My name is Shawn and I am an author. I'd like to see what readers are thinking so I joined the group. Thanks for having me.
Hello. I am Sangeeta Mahapatra, an author from India. It's interesting to read the reactions of people who like this genre, learn from them, and evolve as a writer. Thanks.
Good morning, all...My name is Thomas Rydder, and although I've been a member of Goodreads for three years, I've recently come back online after a fairly lengthy hiatus. Very happy to be back amongst readers and writers, and hope to make some new friends here.
Thomas
