Jody (jodybell) | 531 comments I've seen the movie version of this (with Leigh/Brando) so was very excited to read the play. I really loved it - and I'll definitely read more of his work.

This was my pick as well. I'm not a huge fan of reading plays but I did like that it was a quick book that I could use as a catch-up. I found it a little uneventful but I enjoyed it for the most part.

Jean Cole (joc724) | 115 comments I also read this for this category. Just imagine Leigh and Brando in the roles as you read. More perfect casting I cannot imagine. Who would have thought The Godfather used to look like this: Brando as Kowalski Not bad, I'd say!

Jody (jodybell) | 531 comments I agree - they were so perfectly cast. And Marlon Brando ... phwoar!

message 5: by Sophie (new)

Sophie (sawphie) I don't really like to read plays either, but this one could be good, thanks!

Jody (jodybell) | 531 comments It's definitely an easy read, Sophie. I quite like reading plays though.
