Manda (bookwenchmanda) | 307 comments I had troubles deciding on which play to read this week, so this again has turned into another week where I am doubling up on books. My first choice is 'night, Mother. I've been wanting to read this for awhile so I finally have a reason to put this one as a priority on my reading list.

Manda (bookwenchmanda) | 307 comments This took me by surprise. I knew it was about a woman who wanted to commit suicide, but I did not think it would be so blunt about it, or that it would focus solely on the relationship between mother and daughter as the daughter tells her mother of her plan. Mother spends all night convincing her daughter she has greater reasons to live.

This book is definitely a Trigger book for some people. It's very emotional, with a heavy topic, but very well written.

5 Stars!
