It's time to nominate for October's book. This book is a book King has recommended to us readers. Please provide the source or blurb where King pushes your nominations...

One nomination per person.
Link to the title using the add book/author option.
Check here to make sure that we haven't already read the book you're about to throw down: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... or https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...
No nomination of your own book. Have fun!!

Matthew (funkygman007) | 199 comments I cannot get those links to work, but since I am not showing the following book as read by several members of this group on my friends list, I think it is a safe bet.

I would like to nominate The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. It has a Stephen King recommendation right on the cover.

"One gorgeous read"

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Angie, your links seem to be cut off.
Here are the links:

Finally, my nomination is Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer

I don't know whether that review is a recommendation or not, but Mr. King is the only reason the book is on my TBR.

message 16: by Kandice (new)

Kandice | 3915 comments How about You by Caroline Kepnes? I bought it because King recommended it, but a friend just read it and did not find it worthy. Sometimes bagging on a book in a group is more fun than loving one. ;-}
