Cuniculus Potterton | 2880 comments Remember the new Horror Aficionados Top 101 list? "Back in the day", I allowed myself to add two short story collections by Anthony Horowitz, simply called Horowitz Horror: Stories You'll Wish You Never Readand More Horowitz Horror. As far as I know, the man is primarily known as a writer for a young-adult audience. In the two volumes mentioned, this is perhaps most easily to tell by the protagonists of the stories, who are teens and children exlusively. Despite that, the stories are quite serious, clever, dark and macabre, similar to the adult-oriented stories by fellow British author Roald Dahl. For example, in one story a man is cooked alive while sunbathing, which is actually described in a gruesome way.
