SOLVED. 70's book about kidnapped girl [s]

I read a book in the late 70's or early 80's about a girl who was kidnapped and taken to a little house in the woods; eventually she was rescued because as she developed a relationship with her captor, he agreed to buy her favorite curtain material in town. When he did this, the store owner recognized this as the kidnapped girl's favorite material and so they were tracked down. Help? Thanks!
