How do I update my book cover?

I've updated my book cover. How do I update it on Goodreads? Thanks!

We cannot change published covers. See author FAQs. However we can create an alternate cover edition and as the author you can set the newer cover edition as the primary edition.

What I did isn't looking right and I don't know what to do from here. Or do I need to give it more time? Can someone check this for me?

chrissie, you did it right. i tweaked it a little by adding the rest of the description for your book. i also added a librarian's note just to make things clearer for future librarians. and then i combined the two together. to set the new cover as the default, follow these instructions:

1) Navigate to the book's page. Be sure you have selected the edition you wish to become the default (primary) edition.

2) Click "edit details" below the book's description.

3) On the right side of the page, click "Set this book as the primary edition for this work". It's about midway down the page.

Only Goodreads Authors can set the default edition at this time.
