Shelley | 1 comments Can anyone recommend books or authors about Scottish history? I am watching the Outlander series and it has me interested in highland clans, Jacobites and the uprisings against the English. I can't seem to find many books on the topic. I really enjoy historical fiction such as Alison Weir and Sharon K. Penman. Thank you!!

Jack | 4 comments I love history and fantasy. Would Scotland be a good setting for a fantasy novel do you think?

Jyl Milner | 1 comments Sure it would! Just ask Diana Gabaldon, whose blockbuster series "Outlander" started out there!
