K.E. Hamilton (romanceandsensibility) | 1 comments I am doing BINGO for the first time and I may actually finish on time, but the one square in my way is Travel Writing. Does anyone have any recs ? I don't read a lot of non-ficton so I am totally lost.

Melissa | 24 comments I second the recs for Bill Bryson - love him and would also include In a Sunburned Country on that list.

Other options:
On the Road

A Cook's Tour: Global Adventures in Extreme Cuisines

Under the Tuscan Sun

A Year in Provence

Janet (justjanet) | 790 comments I hear that Paul Theroux is really good and I keep meaning to read something by him.

Gnoe Graasland | 19 comments If you like hiking I certainly second 'Wild' by Cheryl Strayed (more than Bryson's A Walk in the Woods).

If you like journaling (and traveling) something different could be Globejotting by Dave Fox.

Sorry, can't put in direct links from within the app.

Louise | 279 comments Passenger to Tehran I just ordered this - hope it's good!

My First Summer in the Sierra - great summer read

Lindy Some fiction can also be considered travel literature. You might look at:
Mistress of Nothing by Kate Pullinger
I Is Someone Else by Patrick Cooper
A Year in Provence by Peter Mayle
On the Road by Jack Kerouac
