after having seen the movie multiple times and then finding out from a co-worker that “who framed roger rabbit” started out as this book I was very intrigued and went straight to the ibook store on my phone to purchase it. I was a little surprised to see that it was only about 289 pages. I thought it would have been much longer given how the movie goes…but after starting the book I quickly found out that it really had nothing to do with the movie. This is one of those instances where you plan on reading a book based off of how much you loved the movie but soon realize that they are completely different. The book was so different, and yet so amazing. It painted all of the characters in a different light, I’d almost be willing to say that it ruined the movie for me…but I don’t think It’s possible to ruin Roger Rabbit! All in all it was a great read and anyone who loves the movie should definitely look into the book, it makes you cock your head to the side and literally ask yourself (and anyone who will listen) how the heck they formed this movie!!
