Shannon (countessmom) | 4087 comments Sorry. Can't help either. I just read a sci-fi but it was all set on space stations. Too bad cause I didn't like it....would have been nice for it to have at least been useful.

The "known" planet might make it harder... A lot of sci-fi I've read is made up planets...

message 102: by Margaret (new)

Margaret (everlastinggrace) I'm hoping to pick up a goal soon. Was there anyone that picked up the A or An goal? I didn't hear any more about it.

all our books add up in attack points and you never know .. I bet it will eventually come in handy for a goal

Yes, exactly. Any sidekick that is a character that you don't often see or is unusual in some way....like Iko, or Bob from the Dresden Files.

After I'm finished with my turtle goal (which will be tonight) I can find a scifi book to fulfill the known planet task.

I'll make a decision on which book that I'll read for this goal. I reaccessed my options and Finding Emma is poorly written and the other one seems a bit too dense for reading quickly or smoothly. I'll be finding a book as soon as I can. No worries :D

I'm working on the Dresden series but Bob is not usually the main sidekick in a book so does this mean the series overall or any minor sidekick?

message 115: by Laura (new)

Laura | 9707 comments Amanda wrote: "Sorry everyone! I was updating my computer and it took a while.

I should have posted that I updated the spreadsheet so you wouldn't have to go looking and that I was going to bed!!

Amanda (daughterofoak) | 3473 comments Elle wrote: "I'm working on the Dresden series but Bob is not usually the main sidekick in a book so does this mean the series overall or any minor sidekick? "

It doesn't specify so any minor sidekick is fine as long as they do have a part in the story(not just briefly mentioned).

So what goals are people working on? It's starting to get hard to track & remember & it's only going to get more so with the merges.

Margaret (everlastinggrace) An update from me...I hope to finish the 2010 seller book tonight (fingers crossed) and I will be starting a book for the An/A which in this case, it is the A as soon as I finish my current book. Also, are we good for the recipe in a book? I think someone has that covered already? I don't want to spend time looking if I don't have to. I'll be looking for an audio to cover a goal, I hope, tomorrow especially since we will have more goals to cover. Good night everyone!

I was hoping to stop at the library today to look for some books with the starting word A but you know that story! I didn't leave town until after 6 pm, too late for a stop at the library. So, I think I might end up reading Finding Emily after all. I sent it back and then borrowed it again....sigh....trying to make it work. I was hoping to find something awesome but who knows maybe I'll like it. I am hoping to now read an audio but hoping that I can read an audio for a goal. What are your books that you'll be reading?

I can take the A/An goal if you want. I ran across a few in my frantic search through my bookshelves the other day. :D

I'm just about finished with Anna Dressed in Blood and I'm also working on The Shadow Revolution.
I had several Overdrive requests all come in at once so I'm also trying to make some room for them before they get sent back. Story of my life!
