Do these work?Option 3:
Book A:Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick (244 pages)
Book B:The Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett (120 pages)
Jayme, Bea, and Delmy, your picks are good to go.Apoorv, Jaya's subtitle (everything after the colon) doesn't count, so it won't work in combination with Lolita. However, you could use Jaya as your short book if you can find a book with a title of 8 characters or more to go with it.
Approval please ... OPTION 1Book A: The Amazing Mrs. Pollifax (21 characters)

Spring sometimes takes so long to get here, and then too short when it finally does arrive. Choose ONE of the following 3 options for this task. Book A and Book B must both be from the same option.
Option 1 - Long and Short Titles
The title of Book A must be at least twice the length of that for Book B when you count characters. When counting characters, numerals (1, 2, 3, etc.) count but punctuation does not. Subtitles and series titles are not included in the count. For example:
Book A: The Last Enchantments (19 letters)
Book B: Burned (6 letters)
Required: Include the letter count when you post.
Option 2 - Long and Short Author Names
The name of the author for Book A must be at least twice the length of that for Book B when you count characters. Use the author’s name as it appears on Goodreads, ignoring any punctuation but including middle names/initials. For example:
Book A: Jennifer Vanderbes (17 letters)
Book B: C.J. Box (5 letters)
Required: Include the letter count when you post.
Option 3 - Long and Short Book Length
The page count of Book A must be at least twice the page count of Book B. Standard SRC rules about the use of e-books and audio editions apply here (see #9 and #10 under Book Formats and Page Numbers Explained in the Rules of the Challenge). For example:
Book A: The Bone Season (466 pgs)
Book B: To the Lighthouse (209 pgs)
Required: Identify the option used when you post.
