SOLVED-YA- Girl and boy travel to Middle Ages using a gem[?] [s]

The details are really fuzzy, but I read this book a couple years ago. I know it's YA an the cover is black. It's a fantasy novel. The girl is drawn to this boy and she doesn't know why. They end up traveling to the Middle Ages for some reason and have to pretend to be married. The antagonist is a man who turns into a raven, and at least one point attacks the boy. I don't remember much more than that but I'd like to know the title. Please help!!
