Hello Goodreads authors: Bottom line, we are looking for quality submissions for our new press. We are new, but at the same time aware of the many challenges and concerns that writers have concerning indie publishing. We are not a vanity press; we will not be asking you for money at any point.
Who we are: a young, New York City-based independent press specializing in high-quality fiction and non-fiction by new and emerging writers.
We are currently accepting submissions for our inaugural 2015-2016 season.
Submissions should be electronically transmitted to submissions@tailwindspress.com and should be in 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced and with one-inch margins (PDF, Microsoft Word 2010, or earlier versions of Microsoft Word only). The author's name should be at the top of each page. Please include a brief description of the work, and the audience for which it is intended, in the transmittal email.
