Which character is your favorite? And why?

HAHAHA! we all feel that violent streak from time to time..

(view spoiler)[I feel bad for David. He's their Father's biological son, but he was also made to suffer the most, just so he can play "the monster" for Carolyn to conquer. The author definitely did a great job in manipulating us to hate David even though he's such a pitiful character, really. I like that we got to see young David and the light in him before this all happened. (hide spoiler)]

My favorite characters are Michael and Dresden.
(view spoiler)[ I love Dresden's majestic sense of duty. He keeps his words and he does not bend even if his life is at stake. If I was a lion and he was my king, I would have been proud to have such a leader. I also love Michael, because of his loyalty and innocence. Of all the librarians, he is the only one who has not totally lost his innocence and humanity. I think it had a lot to do with him being around animals most of the time, ironically enough. He is someone who still cries for others.. who has somehow retained compassion and sympathy in a world of dispassion and violence (which is probably the reason why their Father chose him as the only suitable companion for Carolyn, not Steve, who only served as her "heart coal") (hide spoiler)]

I haven't met everyone yet. I am still pretty early in the book. I liked Steve the plumber... And I like Michael. David sounds so disgusting and nasty...

David...right from his introduction. I am very intrigued by his character and what he brings to the rest of the story..I am not usually drawn to characters like him...don't know what to make of this nonsense...

I hit a point where David's layers are starting to be shown. It is making me more and more interested in him.

I am glad that you have reached the point where David is no longer just disgusting or nasty, or unrelatable.
The mystery behind David continues until the end, and a revelation explains a lot about the significance of his character.

Yeah I am just past the Bull and meeting Erwin. This one reads pretty slow, but it kind of has to. There's just so much to it.
