Terri FL (territhemuse) | 527 comments My mom offered to help me pick out some of my books to devise my reading plan as she thought it sounded fun. (She has been book sitting my personal library while I was out of the country the last 4 years, and all my books are still a her house, as well as me until I move into my new place next week). Everything was going fine until she started crying. When she could speak, she was so sad at how much she has lost the last 30 years. See, she used to love to read, but, in the mid 80's, exactly 30 years ago this year, she had a brain aneurysm, and for some reason took away her ability to concentrate, leaving her not able to read. She has tried at various points, but, can never get more than 10 pages in. I told her to try audible (which I love), as my son who has AD/HD, and also can't concentrate much, has found lately he really enjoys reading through listening. She's a bit skeptical though. Any other ideas?
