Kelly 1. Did you enjoy the book?

2. What did you think of the cover?

3. Have you ever met anyone with the same name as you? What about just the same first name? Was it weird?

4. Which Will Grayson did you identify best with? Which one did you prefer reading? Explain.

5. Tiny Cooper is a very passionate person. So much so that he sometimes gets on O.W.G.'s nerves. Despite this, they are the very best of friends. Do you have any complicated friendships like this?

6. Tiny loves love. If you could make a musical based on what you love, what would it be?

7. O.W.G. has a complicated relationship with relationships (both romantic and platonic) were you ever frustrated with Will, or did you sympathize with him?

8. How would you react to finding an unflattering portrayal of you in a friends musical? What about what Maura did to the other Will?

9. This is our second time reading a John Green book. How do you think it compares?

10. Any final thoughts?

Kelly Book Club rating: 4.5

The teens really liked this novel and thought it had many funny moments. They did admit that they found the ending to be a bit over the top and hard to believe, but overall it was a solid book.

It was interesting to see which Will Grayson the teens identified with more and which point of view they preferred reading. They also expressed interest in reading more books by John Green and David Levithan.
