Hello everyone,

Hope all is well at your end :-)

You are all requested to please suggest a Futuristic, Fantasy, Paranormal Romance book for us to read in the month of May, 2016 :-)

You have till 25th April, 2016 to nominate the book that you wish to (you can even suggest a book that is written by you...!)

...and on 26th April, 2016, the selected book will be announced here

...along with the link to the discussion thread where you can describe your reading experiences regarding that book...!

Please try not to make your comments too specific in the discussion but if you would like to mention certain revelatory facts about the story, then please use the spoiler feature.*

Looking forward to your participation :-)

Thanks ...and happy reading...! :-)

*spoiler feature: < spoiler>...< /spoiler>

There wouldn't be a space after the two front brackets, but I have put them there so that the formula shows up.

Pink Angel | 5 comments I recommend Barbie & the Beast by Linda Thomas-Sundstrom.(https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...)

Staphysagria I´ve just ordered the sample of "Last kiss tonight by Gena Showalter"- let´s see if that is suitable-

Again Lovejoy's World is my suggestion, a. It's free until 31 of this month and b. It's futuristic romance about Wally and Keira and their journey across the parsecs to primitive Lovejoy's World.

then the trouble really starts. Hitherto antagonistic, under pressure of danger they begin to feel attraction for one another.

Staphysagria Do you mean Lovejoy #1 by Jonathan Gash? I didn´t come up with anything when I put in "Lovejoy´s world".

I meant Lovejoy's World by Dai Alanye, you'll find the offer here http://novconfic.alanye.com/

Sorry, i should've mentioned that.

Staphysagria the blurb sounds (sorry, wrong word, something written can never "sound")- or rather seems interesting- "everyday people instead of superheroes" is an interesting concept for phantasy lit. I´ve downloaded the sample and will try and transfer it onto my kindle. Thanks and happy Easter!

You can send an email to lnd5335@embarqmai.com and request a free copy of the book, the code will let you choose the format that
suits you best.
Thank you and happy Easter to you too.

My first pick when anyone asks me about PNR. I read this book in a day because it was just that good. Even if you don't like paranormal books, the love story is very very strong. I really hope you guys read it even if it is not our group read for May.

SA Dar | 16 comments How about Beauty's Beast by Amanda Ashley. I noticed a lot of the paranormal romance books are always in series. What every we choose please don't let it be a series...

Hello everyone, thanks a lot for your recommendations, and SA, your suggestion has merit but since many Romance books are a part of a series so if we were to implement this rule then we may miss reading some wonderful books.

However, what I would like to suggest is that from now on, if anyone wants to recommend a book which is a part of a series and it cannot be enjoyed as a standalone, then they should officially nominate the first book of that series for the group read and then also mention the name of that particular book in the series which they actually want to recommend, so that interested members can check out that book as well.

Hope that's fine with you, and again, thanks for the suggestion :-)

And now...

...the book selected for our May group read is:

Radiance Radiance (Wraith Kings, #1) by Grace Draven by Grace Draven

Well, looking forward to interacting with you all in the discussion :-)

Thanks ...and happy reading! :-)
