[E]ver since she was a small child Koharu has been one to go against the expectations that everyone has for her; she is extremely independent and does not like to have help with the things she does, she most definitely prefers to get the job done herself. As she had tried many times over the years to go to the Matchmaker and find a man that is perfect for her, she has failed every time for she uses her brain, unlike most of the women who come to the Matchmaker. Her intelligence and her interrogative personality get her into trouble with her father quite often as does her endurance and confidence. Koha is someone who will speak her mind not matter the cost even if it means hurting someone, she is definitely not one to hold back.

[K]oharu's history is one that is fairly average for the women in China. She was born in Beijing to her mother and father Airi and Lau Yui in their home at the time. At a young age Koha made the decision that she wanted to be around her father more than her mother, she felt that her father could teach her more about living then her mother could. When it was time for her father to go to war she would always watch him in the personal training he put himself through, fascinated that her father was so special of a man that the Emperor wanted Lau to fight for him. After the war, when her father returned, he was injured and would never be able to go to war again due to his injury. So when the General came for her father to join the war with the Huns Koharu insisted that her father not go; knowing that Lau would not listen to her, she butchered her once beautiful long hair, took her father's armor and his sword, the family steed, and left for the camps so that her father would not have to fight and die for honor as he wanted to.

мαr ♚ | 264 comments Okay cool, that sounds great, I love it! XD For Koharu and Hung did you want to start where he already knows that she's a woman and he's like the only one out of everyone in the camp and all the soldiers that knows?

мαr ♚ | 264 comments When the young woman entered the room, a stocky looking servant shut the large wooden doors which he had opened for her. The few candles made it nearly impossible for him to be seen, but he was behind her so he was certain that she could not see him. The Master would be pleased to know that she had worn the dress he had sent her; it fit her nicely. The servant placed a strong hand on the woman's back and pushed her along through several corridors until they arrived at the throne room where the servant knew his Master was waiting. Pushing the girl into the pitch black room, he turned and shut the door behind him as he left, the Master had requested to have his meal with the woman alone.

Adam stood in the dark throne room, there was but one window in the whole room and it was covered by a thickly sewn drape; he had watched Isobel Marie arrive from that window but had quickly pulled the drape across the glass so no one could see into his castle or out unless the drape was moved. He could hear his servants bringing Miss Isobel to him, and when the door opened and shut with Isobel speaking into the darkness with no idea that he was in the room with her at the moment. With a swift movement - just a quick flick of his wrist - every candle in the room was lit simultaneously and Isobel fell silent. So, she had worn the dress he had sent with her father, it did look rather dashing on her. "Hello," he greeted her.

Koharu had been awake for some time, she had developed the habit of waking early to beat all the men to any water source that was nearby to bathe. She had already experienced bathing with the men once, and she did not want to have to go through it again. Though the water was chilling to the bone this time of year and at this elevation it was definitely worth it not to be stuck with all the men.

After she had bathed, Koha dressed herself and smoothed out her short cut hair that had once been long enough to hang at her waist. Once she had finished she slipped out of her tent that was slightly more concealed than the other men's tents and began down a well hidden path into the forest before she arrived at the shrine she had been searching for, it looked as if she was the first one there. She sank to her knees in front of the shrine, it was much smaller than the one that her father had at her home but it made due, her eyes slid shut as she began to pray but she was interrupted by the sound of feet stepping on what sounded to be branches covered in the early morning frost. Not long after that she heard someone - a man, no doubt - clear their throat and she opened her eyes before slowly rising from where she had been sitting on her knees and turned to see the General. "General," Koharu greeted the man in the most manly voice she could manage.

мαr ♚ | 264 comments From the other side of the grand table that had been set out in a meal that certainly looked to be fit for a King and his Queen, Adam watched Isobel, his sharp eyes catching the shaking of her body. His gaze fell upon her eyes as she seemed to be scrutinizing him, most likely comparing his appearance to those described by the villagers that dared to venture too close to his castle; they would start rumors, he knew that. Only a few times has he heard what people were saying he looked like, but they did not have any idea.

When her stormy sky colored eyes met his own dark ones, Adam lifted his chin a fraction of an inch and watched her as she bowed to him in what was a clumsy bow that still held much grace; in return, he bowed to her as well, only a slight bend at the waist. After straightening up, he gestured to the chair that was closest to her with a pale skinned hand, "Sit," he said, not a demand; though if he knew the effect he had on other humans - especially women - she would sit. Once she had sat down, he too pulled his chair out from the grand table and sat, leaning back to study her for a moment in the dress he had sent her. "I do trust that your journey here was well."

Koha had been about to leave the shrine when the General extended a hand and shook his head before he moved to sit next to where she had been sitting before the General had appeared. Clearing her throat, Koharu managed to speak in her manly voice again: "No, I do not mind," she answered, ocean blue eyes colliding with the General's dark ones. For another brief moment she stood, feeling as if her boots were frozen to the ground or filled with boulders; but she slowly sunk back to her knees, returning the nod she received from the General before closing her eyes and lowering her head. Ever since she had arrived at the camp Koharu had a hunch that the General would see through her cover, but so far it had worked, though she received plenty of comments from her fellow brothers-in-arms about how much she looked like a woman.

If any of them knew she really was a woman then she would be punished, there was no doubt about that. So she had worked on becoming more manly, using different forms of defensive teachings to build up muscle and when she was alone she would work on deepening her voice. And everything was working, except for the fact that she found herself attracted to the General, and she had the slightest hunch that the feeling was mutual; but she could not just reveal her true self to him without there being consequences.
