Jonel Welcome to our 24 hour long read-a-thon. This read-a-thon runs on September 26/15. Each reader reads from 12:01am to 11:59pm on September 26/15 in their local time zone.

Elizabeth | 408 comments So happy that I remembered today, so I'm reading Alcatraz A Definitive History of the Penitentiary Years by Michael Esslinger Alcatraz: A Definitive History of the Penitentiary Yearsand I'm 9% in it, I'm loving it , besides the history you read about Alcatraz,you also get to look at old black and white photos.

Elizabeth | 408 comments I loving my book Alcatraz A Definitive History of the Penitentiary Years by Michael Esslinger . did you know ? a little bit of history in 1909-1911 the military prisoners on Alcatraz built the new prison ,which was designated the Pacific Branch U.S Disciplinary Barracks for the U.S Army . It was this prison building that later became famous as “ The Rock
