Censorship?

I hope not but, will this book be doomed to censorship?

I for one do not agree with this process, but the language and explicitness of some of the situations may ruffle feathers.

Had the sexual issues been described with implicit language less attention may have been drawn to it. But would the writing had been as good with out the explicit descriptions?

Luckily, since it was the winner of the Printz Award, and is clearly a young adult novel, it will likely be praised rather than censored. (Lately YA novels seem to be INCREDIBLY explicit, so this one will probably not be seen as pushing any boundaries.)

And I agree with you, censorship is rarely, if ever, the way to go.
