Shouldn't the family name come second, i.e. Géza Bereményi instead of Bereményi Géza?

This is how the name is listed on all the covers.
I don't think there's a rule that states the first name needs to be listed first, but there is a rule saying that author names should be listed as on the covers.

I'm not sure which rule you are referring to. Is this the one?
"When editing or adding information for a book written by an author with multiple names, enter the author's name as it appears on the front cover as the primary author."

This is about editing books, not author profiles.

I couldn't find any rule so far that restricts the name order on author pages in this case.

So I think, it is ok for now.

Preferred order is Firstname Lastname. Translated Hungarian authors are also listed that way.

The 'as on the cover' rule refers to people being able to find the specific names (alphabets, alternative spellings). For searching, it doesn't matter which is the name order.

@Balint, please start a new thread in future, instead of adding to one that is several years old.

ETA Changed https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... to Firstname Lastname. Also corrected the 'sort by name' and 'shelf display name' fields, which were sorted on Géza instead of Bereményi.
