Crash Course Literature 2, in which John Green teaches you about a future in which he'll teach you about literature: http://youtu.be/0lMlJOCNpFw

Which of the books are you excited to read?

Here is the reading list:

The Odyssey by Homer http://dft.ba/-7V5t
Oedipus Rex by Sophocles http://dft.ba/-7Uo8
Hamlet by Bill Shakespeare http://dft.ba/-7VDy
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley http://dft.ba/-7U9n
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë http://dft.ba/-7U9o
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee http://dft.ba/-7V8z
Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut http://dft.ba/-7U9p
Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe http://dft.ba/-7VDB
Beloved by Toni Morrison http://dft.ba/-7VDC

Many of these books also have free editions available. Try the amazing and awesome Project Gutenberg at http://www.gutenberg.org

i want to read slaughtehouse five and beloved
also odyssey and oedipus rex but they are kinda too classic for me at the moment.
just finished reading things fall apart few days ago.

btw, why did they end the first season abruptly ??
i love crash course, but they kinda messed up on the literature course.

anyways, looking forward to season 2.

eh? what? All I know is:
~I need a very strong reason to visit 'Youtube'
~I don't know who John Green is
~I don't know what his credentials are as a teacher
~I don't want to be taught about 'the future'
~I wouldn't read a digital book (over a slick, plastic, glowing monitor)
~I wouldn't study literature in any kind of 'crash course'
~I don't place stock in any kind of internet promotion which asks me to 'do something'
