10.5 - America's Most Popular
Between 1940 and 1960, demand for Monopoly skyrockets and it quickly becomes America’s No.1 game. Read a book that was first published between 1940 and 1960, inclusive.

Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) | 3667 comments QUESTION: Do we have to read the edition that was first published within 1940-1960? Or can we read a newer reprint of a book first published during that time period?

It doesn't matter when the actual edition was published. The book itself must have first been published between 1940 and 1960. So, for example, this edition of The Catcher in the Rye has this information on its main page: Published January 30th 2001 by Back Bay Books (first published 1951). The only part that matters for this task is the underlined first published date.
