A Florida high school footballer who jumped in to protect a gay student who was being bullied has been suspended for 10 days even though the bully has been charged by police with battery.

Yes, my state is fucked and we have a whole bunch of idiots running it who believe in stand your ground with a gun and shoot old people with dementia at your door but don't stand up and defend another kid in school from a bully or you'll get punished.
