As Francis Bacon said, "Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed an digested." This book is to be tasted, especially if you enjoy Sherlock Holmes mysteries as it is a woman-centered twist on the Holmes mysteries with a young, intelligent woman working along with Holmes. "Tasted" because I doubt it will leave any lasting impression on me even though it was an enjoyable read for now.

I just finished reading Insurgent, the sequel to Divergent by Veronica Roth. It is as good as Divergent, so if you liked the first book, you will like this one. If you did not already know, Divergent was one of the ASFG summer reading choices in English and it is a sci-fi novel with a twist of romance. It is a book to read for fun, but I recommend not going the author website as when I joined I got tons of emails I did not want. After all, it is not a cult, which is what the emails make it feel like; it is just a good, fun book to read.
