Alaena has decided on some warmer temperatures. For some reason, even in he heat of the sun, she felt cold. Flying to the edge of the volcano, her babies kicked in happiness. Demons like fire, she realized happily. Lying down, she stared at the lava below.
Alaena noticed a girl appear and sat up. "Hey. What's brings you here? I'm Alaena." She held out her hand for her to shake.
Matti recognized the voice. She glared at her."Matti."
She lowered her hand and looked at her appraisingly. "Pleasure to meet you. I guess you know who I am."
"Yeah and I guess you know who I am." Matti said.
She nodded slowly. "You are the one whom James turned his back on. I understand what you went through with Alex."
She folded her arms. "Sure you do."
She looked at her seriously. "I do actually. Only I wasn't allowed to kill the man who raped me. Instead, I was nearly forced to marry him. Until I met James." Alaena stood up slowly, uncomfortable due to her growing stomach.
Matti felt no compassion or love for the girl. Not because she didn't want to but because she couldn't.

"Very vague answer." She said laughing.
"Well, instead of standing there, do you wish to have some fun? I know a great game involving lava. It's slightly dangerous though, just to warm you."
"I understand. Like I said, it's dangerous. Only the brave ever at it." She gave her a smile and dove down to the lava surface. It suddenly started spewing out flaming balls.
"I'm not nervous." Matti said.
