The Lion's Daughter (Scoundrels, #1) The Lion's Daughter question

This question is for those of you who have read the Débauchés aka Scoundrels series. I like to read romance series, but I don’t want to waste my time with the whole series if only one of the books is really good. I've heard a lot of good things about Lord of Scoundrels, the 3rd book in this series. Are the Lion's Daughter and the 2nd book Captive of the Night necessary for character/plot development in this series? Or should I just go ahead and read Lord of Scoundrels?

LOS is one of my all time favorite reads ... and LD was just awful.

To answer your question, you do not need any background from the earlier books. I read them out of order ... and actually, I'm glad I did, because if I read LD first I would never had read another thing by LC.

But LOS is exceptional, and The Last Hellion (final book in the series) is quite good as well.

Yaya Thanks, Robin I thought it might be like Mary Balogh Bedwyns Saga, where each book added to the series. Reading them all made the last book really goo ...more
