February inevitably makes people think about love, doesn't it? So let's talk about something we all love: books! What are the first books you read that made you fall in love with reading? For me, it was Anne of Green Gables, which I devoured in second grade, read the rest of the series, and then ransacked the school library on a regular basis looking for more amazing reads. Tell us about how you fell in love with books!

We posted one of my favorite essays over at the Book Keeping website, Anne Fadiman's "Marrying Libraries" from Ex Libris: Confessions of a Common Reader. It's about how after many years of marriage, her husband and she decided to merge their book collections--a big commitment! You can read it here, and I highly recommend it!
