So this is either paranormal or UF - takes place I think in England. Female protagonist lead with a charismatic handsome bookstore owner who is a vampire. Think it was a series. I read it at least 4 or 5 years ago.

It sounds interesting, and I may be far off, but could it be the series that's a comedy paranormal with the starting book Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men? She ends up working in a bookstore and has vampire assistants later. It's a small bookstore in a small town but don't think it's England, so this may not be it, but worth a try.

Can you tell us more about the heroine - her job, background, family, etc.? Does she have special powers?
