Charles Scott | 4 comments Hello! I would like to introduce you all to my debut novel! It is the first in a series called The Wings of Fate: The Summoner Awaketh. I have a review copy available in PDF format for those who would be willing to give me an honest review on Goodreads and Amazon. Let me know if you are interested!

So hath The Wings of Fate flown this day...

After witnessing the murder of his father, orphan Deswin Hallack joins the Knights Academy of Salinet with only one goal: vengeance. But just prior to graduation, war comes to Salinet and he is given the unintended mission of summoning protective immortal beings called Deities to defend his homeland. Will The Wings of Fate fly Deswin and his companions along the proper path or will he let his past get the better of him? One thing is certain in these dark times: The Summoner Awaketh.

A countless number of realms, each upon their own plane of existence, make up the universe in which humans dwell. Within these realms, small governments rule their people, economies thrive, and corruption runs deep. Travel between the realms is solely based out of the Ingress Temples, mystical portals that were not created by mortal men. How are so many realms kept in check?

The Unity: an all-powerful ruling system full of greedy representatives from each realm and iron-fisted officials. But where secret passing of coin and poisoned words have no influence, there is only one realm that stands proud.

Welcome to Salinet, a realm of stony mountains and vast plains, of thick forests and dry deserts, of Deities and natural power. Salinet is the only realm that can call upon the power of the Deities, eight mystical beings who each have command over specific elements and abilities. There is only one way to call upon this magnificent power: the Summoner, one individual designated to journey around Salinet and summon the Deities.

Jealous and frightened of this power, the other realms have sought to rip it from Salinean hands for centuries. The Knights Academy of Salinet produces the finest warriors to ever see the field of battle. However, with such dependence upon the power of the Deities, Salinet has not the strength in numbers or allies to defend itself against all-out assault. Taking advantage of this weakness, and the fact that there has not been a Summoner for nearly two decades, the rich and powerful realm of Bosula readies itself for war…

Let The Wings of Fate unfurl and fly you on this epic journey in the first installment of The Wings of Fate series: The Summoner Awaketh.
