Michael (michaelswensson) Australian Independent Booksellers have released the shortlist of the 2014 Indie Awards. The winners for each category as well as the Book of the Year will be announced on the 26th of March.

The shortlist for The Indie Awards 2014 is:

Fiction Shortlist

Barracuda by Christos Tsiolkas
Coal Creek by Alex Miller
Eyrie by Tim Winton
The Narrow Road to the Deep North by Richard Flanagan

Non Fiction Shortlist

Girt: The Unauthorised History of Australia by David Hunt

Sally906 The Rosie Project was one of my top reads for last year. Graeme Simsion has another book out this year sometime
