I disliked how Gale left so easily. Of course, I always preferred Peeta on regards to the fact Katniss needed him more than Gale, but how he left her so simply disturbed me.

i agree, it would have been nice if he at least ended up with Madge, but then she died and stuff :(

Yeah I agree with that. Personally, I think Gale is just, well, not really a go-getter like Katniss. He pretty much just lets things happen.
But overall, I really liked the book.
