I'm excited. I wonder how they'll adapt the codas (which I'm assuming they do for the sake of adding more content and stretching the original book into a longer show).

I wouldn't mind if they do a few fluff episodes that just parody Star Trek, show off the magic panacea box, that sort of thing.

Also I do hope Will Wheaton gets a part. What are your guys's thoughts?

Darren It's FX, so don't hold your breath about this ever seeing the air. FX was the channel behind the Locke & Key series, as well as the four+ years development of the Powers series.

Tamahome | 6190 comments Good point. Here's the Locke & Key trailer.

Maybe the youtube Pilot Show can show it with commentary like they did the Wonder Woman pilot.

Ricky Holmes | 21 comments Eh, That's only 2 shows. Things get stuck in developmental hell on occasion and yea it sucks, but it's part of the business. If you have the outlook that "That channel had 2 shows in development that never went anywhere, this one wont either." then you might as well have no hope for any future of television because that happens...alot. Hell, even HBO did it. Remember American Gods?

Darren I named the two shows I really wanted to see, not the only ones FX nixed. Fool me once, fool me twice, Ricky.

I hope he plays the series' writer/Jenkins. And I know Tim Allen has essentially played this part before but I'd like hims as the captain. Given the nature of the book, it would be cool if the casting choices for everyone but the ensigns were in-jokes.
