I found this book really easy to read and fascinating. And also terrifying.

I just managed to get it from the library (it had a long waiting list) so it'll take me a bit longer to get to it. Once I know for sure I'm going to read a book I hate reading reviews - I like to approach books as a blank slate. Then afterwards the reviews are the fun interactive part!

It's true that other peoples reviews can colour your experience of a book... the worst is when I look at the status updates of a book I'm reading on GR and people post spoilers... arg.
